If you’re looking for an old-school, hole-in-the-wall place with your traditional breakfast items, this place is for you! I would say the restaurant is old but charming! We also had GREAT service from twin sisters. It sounds like they should run the place as they are passionate about their customers, but management might not be as helpful. All-in-all, we had a lovely experience. Group of 4 ordered: - 2 eggs with corn beef hash (came with grits) - pecan waffle and 1/2 order of hashbrowns with grilled onions - Blackhawk burrito - 2 eggs with side of bacon (comes with grits) - coffee

We're staying at an r v campground nearby and were recommended to check out this place for breakfast. Was a cold wet tuesday morning, so there was no line outdoors. And we were seated quickly. As we entered, we had to walk by one of the waitstaffs standing out front having a cigarette. Not my favorite way to start a breakfast. We ordered omelets. Mine was a cheesesteak and my wife ordered the skip jack. We o

The food is mediocre, the restaurant is grungy, but the worst thing is the staff. To say that they are unpleasant is an understatement. We are very familiar with the drill of standing outside (do not dare to open the door to peek in to let them know you're there, or you will incur their wrath), but on our most recent visit we watched as a poor unsuspecting lovely group of people made the fatal mistake of entering through the exit door, triggering such a violently nasty reaction from the staff that they scurried out and never returned. Ordinarily we wouldn't mind waiting almost an hour after ordering to receive a plate of greasy flavorless food, but we draw the line at the

Food tasted cheap, not much flavor and had no seasoning. The chicken fried chicken and it was rubbery. Hash browns had a grease heavy taste. Waitress' were great. Never waited for fresh coffee or refilled water!

If youre wanting that small town feel with the warmth of a southern grandma....this is the place. Not over priced and the breakfast was a dream cooked to perfection! One breakfast bowl was enough for 2 people!!!
