Bread People

Instantly the best doughnuts in Northfield! We have been to Bread People many times at their old location but were excited to try the offerings in the new downtown location this week. They did not disappoint! A fresh Cinnamon Roll with a hint of sourdough tang was only surpassed by the glazed donuts. Melty,chewy,sweet - everything a donut should be. These put gas station donuts to shame.

Bloody Marvelous egg sandwich! With coffee only $9 (plus tip) for lunch! Egg, bacon (or not), delicious poppyseed bun served warm! And good coffee too!

Absolutely fabulous bread! Some of the best sliced loaf and sourdough bread I have tasted in my entire life. THIS is the perfect bread to eat simple with a bit of Irish butter and sprinkle of salt. What a treat to have such a shop here in Northfield.

This is a top-notch little bakery! We tried the cinnamon bun, cardamom bun, and a tomato-pesto stuffed brioche bun. All three were fluffy yet hearty and expertly crafted. Flavors were bold and delicious - cardamom was my favorite. I plan to stop in and try more of their treats every time I'm in the area.

I cannot say enough good things about Bread People. From their ethical practices to the amazing food, it does not disappoint! Northfield is lucky to have such an amazing bakery in town.
