Bread Guy Breads LLC

I decided to take a different route home on Friday & popped into Bread Guy Breads for the first time—definitely not the last. The smell when you walk in is incredible, & the service was fabulous. I left with a four pack of small sourdough loaves, though choosing was hard with so many sweet & savory options. I also grabbed a savory chorizo cheddar roll-up, a brown sugar pastry, & a couple of cheesy breads to eat in the car. I was happy with all my choices—everything was so fresh & delicious.

Wonderful selection of breads and related bakery (like scones and muffins), as good as I’ve seen anywhere in the Worcester area. Friendly/cheerful service by their crew. House specialty seems to be sourdough (that is to die for!) but everything we tasted was fabulous. Plenty of parking in front.

As a European finding any bread in America, that doesn’t taste like cake is an ongoing quest. This place is brilliant, I’m not much of A fan of sourdough But theirs are very mild. They also have a selection of freshly baked crusty bread that is not sourdough. All are amazing. I can Highly recommend that everything loaf the rosemary and herb loaf, and their jalapeño and cheese loaf is amazing. This is literally the best French Baguette I’ve had outside of France. The gentleman and ladies who work there are friendly and courteous, knowledgeable and just so polite it really is a pleasure to shop here. The only complaint I have is I wish they had more loaves. It’s best if you get there early in the morning if you’d like the full selection they do sell out so if you are traveling a little ways

I join the other 92 people who offered up 5 starts to this amazing bakery. I grew up in Philadelphia/New Jersey where finding your favorite bakery is a RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE. Many a conversation revolves around who has the best crumb bun, cinnamon buns, Italian bread, donuts....you get the gist. So, when I kept hearing about "The Bread Guy" I was like ok, this will be interesting. I have lived in Massachusetts for 40+ years and NEVER ONCE HAVE I HAD A GOOD BAKERY EXPERIENCE. My husband and I, both from Philly, joke that we have been pretending to like our local bakeries for 40 years, but not until you cross into the NY/NJ area can you get a decent bakery item--UNTIL NOW. I was searching for a Sourdough sandwich loaf that wasn't made with commercial yeast and vinegar like a nearby large food store makes. His sourdough is almost sweet and had the flavor of French baguettes. Not as sour as San Francisco bread is.
