Customer Reviews
First time eating here and will definitely be back! We sat on the patio which is quaint and gives a European feel. We arrived during their happy hour and were impressed with all of the options! The drinks especially the spritz was super tasty! The French onion soup was delicious 10/10 as was the steak frites (super crispy and flavorful)! The beef was perfectly tender and full of flavor. Staff was kind and friendly but not over the top attentive, which I appreciate!
One of the best gluten free restaurant meals I’ve had. Item aren’t marked as gluten free on the menu but the waiter was knowledgeable. I got the beef and my wife got the trout, both of which are gluten free. Absolutely delicious! They even included tasty gluten free toast. We got dessert as well. The chocolate mousse is gluten free if you get it without the topping. My wife’s pumpkin pot de crème was gluten free as well. Side note: The waiter said that the fries “have a little bit of gluten” so I assume they’re just not in a dedicated fryer. Something to keep in mind if you get the burger, for which a gluten free bun is available.
We had a wonderful lunch. We ordered the roasted chicken and braised beef, accompanied by onion soup, and finished with a selection of desserts. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, though it was a bit crowded. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, made even more special by the staff’s generosity in surprising us with an extra dessert to celebrate our anniversary.
Only ate appetizers but food was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more! I think this is a great spot to come as a group, date or I was alone while traveling for work.
If you do nothing else in St. Louis other than come to this restaurant, it’ll be worth the trip. It is in my top 3 meals of all time. We had the duck, the chicken, and the braised beef. All phenomenal. The French fries with the garlic aioli; outstanding! And to top it all off we had a peanut butter and jelly crème brûlée that made me want to lick the dish. Our waiter Taiya was so sweet and accommodating to our few changes we needed! She made our dinner fun and enjoyable and we loved talking to her. We will be back Saturday before we leave. Zero notes in terms of what needs to be changed. Incredible.
