Brasa Peruvian Kitchen

I loved my bowl so much. We need a Brasa in every neighborhood. 🫶 this location has good space and nice and airy bright feel inside too. The staff was also very kind. I had to wait for more tofu to be ready and they gave me updates and let me try their GF alfajores (which were delicious you must try and speaks to their staff and customer service!) I definitely will order from them again. The food was fresh and tasty and all good for you. Not sure which more you could ask! Also I’m glad I waited for the tofu to come out because it was extra warm and yummy fresh from being made and allowed me to enjoy my bowl even more. UPDATE: I ordered again and loved it again. This time a custom greens bowl - stuck with the tofu, tried the roasted potatoes in the bowl this time and the lime maple dres

Omar H. provided the utmost in professional and knowledgeable customer service! He took the time to explain all the options and even the nutritional value with geographical context of the food! When it’s so common place for people to work in service and not have a clue of their job, the food or beverages their selling Omar completely restored my faith in eating out. I’m definitely coming back and telling all my fitness fam to come here for a healthier and tastier option that’s refreshingly delicious! Came here again with my wife and we are definitely making this our spot. Freddy served us and was super helpful with any accommodations we needed and was overall helpful as is the entire staff. We’ve been coming regularly and are always treated well by the staff. One of the best spots in Astoria

I stopped by this spot today and was so impressed! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. I ordered the braised beef Every bite had the perfect balance of freshness and seasoning, hearty but still light and refreshing. On top of the amazing food, the customer service was outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcome. You can tell they care about both the food and the people they serve. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends!

I heard of this place on social media and it’s around the corner from my children’s barber so I decided to give it a try. While born in the states, i have traveled annually Peru since birth and grew up with their bold flavors and of course amazing chicken. We love chicha morada and I was looking forward to the purple bee pea. Sadly the bee pea tasted more like a blueberry smoothie with no purple corn flavors coming through and it didn’t look that purple at all. The cancha was not fresh, very little and cold chicken on the chicken Caesar and both bowls took up more green than other elements and were not warm at all. Our server was nice and the place was clean.
