Boynton Beach City Library

Oct 2025 was my first visit to this amazing facility. Modern technology, state of the art layout. Library staff were quite knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. Spacious layout allowed for a comfortable experience ! I have provided many photos as they speak a thousand words. I especially enjoyed the local history (and Herstory) displays. I would recommend not taking any books out from this library for the reasons below, even though the library has a lot of space and a fairly good collection. The Boynton Beach City Library reported me to a credit agency for having a late children’s book without even sending me a bill first. A second book they didn’t even send a late book notification. In fact I had previously come in to talk to them about the first book & they said I should keep looking for it. They said I would not have to pay anyway because you get one late book free. Then over the summer in August when I was away on vacation I received an email that they would bill me , but gave me no way to pay. In September I got a notice from a collection agency. When I called I was told I had another overdue children’s book I had

A great library with fantastic staff, This library is truly a gem clean, welcoming, and well-organized. The staff are fantastic always helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. It’s a great place to read, study, or just enjoy a quiet moment. Highly recommended!

Amazing staff. I have never had as much support, kindness and smiles in a library outside the Schomburg library in New York

I visited this library this morning (Saturday) to take a four-hour mock exam. I had read great reviews about it, so I decided to give it a try. I arrived around 9:15 am, and about 10 am, I could hear a loud meeting happening on the floor below. To my surprise, it turned out to be a meeting for the hearing impaired. Then, a little girl started running and laughing loudly as her caregiver chased her. After that, a gentleman in his 50s loudly set up his area to make a phone call and talked loudly. Unfortunately, this library doesn’t seem to be the best place to study if you’re looking for a quiet environment.
