Bowers House Bed and Breakfast

Could not ask for a better experience! Location cannot be beat! Block off Davis Square, where there's also a T stop. So plenty of bars, shops and restaurants minutes away. Our room, while small was comfortable and immaculate. Had all you need. Very comfy bed, plenty of pillows, towels, iron and ironing board. Nice Continental breakfast. 24/7 coffee and tea. They even had half and half in the fridge!! Also fruit available. But this is all even exceeded by the warmth and hospitality of the hosts, Christina and Steven! We thoroughly enjoyed our morning chats and couldn't imagine staying elsewhere when in the area. Highly recommend!!

The neighborhood is lovely, with plenty of restaurants nearby and close to David’s Station. There’s free parking. The room was comfortable, and clean. The continental breakfast was delicious. Christina and Steven’s hospitality was exceptional - they took care of everything for us. We’ll definitely come back!

Booking accommodation in Boston for a reasonable price is not an easy task but I stumbled on this little gem of a place. I am glad I did….||Arriving by the ‘T’ after figuring that out, the B&B is a 5-10 minute walk from Davis Square station. We arrived late but communication with Christina was excellent and there were no issues regarding entry.||Our room was presented nipping clean for our stay. It was a comfortable room with everything you need for a stay. At this moment in time daily housekeeping is on hold but if you speak to Steven or Christina, they will assist on a refresher or extra towels etc.||Breakfast was a simple continental affair but with enough to start your day. We chose the Bowers B&B as our son has lived on the border of S. Medford and Somerville now for a bit over a year now and we wanted to spend a weokend with him over Mother's Day weokend. The location in Davis Square was perfect for our visit as we wanted to experience the "neighborhood" he lives and works in. It happened to be the weekend of the Somerville Porch Fest, which highlights close to 500 bands performing on porches and yards all over Somerville! It was fabulous! Christina and Steven were our hosts and are a great resource for adventuring and tips on the area. Our accommodations were clean, neat, and we particularly liked that we were able to make use of visiting in the kitchen and living room common areas with our son during a break from the action. I’ve stayed around Davis Square a few times but Steven and Christina’s place is the absolute best I’ve experienced. Not only does it have the best price, but far and away it has the best location. My room was comfortable, peaceful, and quiet while being literal steps away from the most vibrant cafes and restaurants of Davis Square. A lovely continental breakfast was served each morning, and I loved getting to know the hosts better. (Just note that you should bring your own conditioner if you need it—but soap and shampoo are provided for the showers.) Cannot recommend Bowers House enough!
