Customer Reviews
Brad and Brice absolutely made our night at Bourbon & Bones. From the moment we sat down, the service was dialed in, attentive without hovering and polished without feeling scripted. They guided us through the menu with confidence, and their recommendation on the temperature for the Spinalis Wagyu was spot on. It came out perfectly cooked, rich, buttery, and it literally melted in my mouth. Easily one of the best steaks I’ve had. They also suggested pairing it with an Austin Hope, and it was an excellent match. The bold, smooth profile complemented the Wagyu beautifully and elevated the entire meal. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance of upscale and energetic, and the cocktails were outstanding, balanced, strong, and crafted with care. Brad and Brice’s attentiveness was off the
What a disappointing experience, this was. The service was good, the place is nice, but the food just OK. The bone marrow needed marrow, the tar tar was good, the ceviche was more vegetables than fish, the lambchops were over cooked, the mushrooms were super salty(and I like salt). The sashimi was pretty good, the short rib was small but pretty good, and the brussels sprouts were very good. All in all, I wouldn't go back! Very expensive for a subpar meal.
Had an amazing meal here the day after Christmas. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was perfect, and the overall experience was high end and worth the price we paid. It’s worth noting that we had a minor issue with the steak preparation that was communicated before it was brought to our table when we were offered a redo on the preparation. We declined and I felt there was no real issue at all with my meal. They made a point of providing a complimentary dessert to both of us at the end of the meal which was greatly appreciated. I’ll definitely return here in future visits to Scottsdale.
I really enjoyed my visit to Bourbon & Bones. The environment is great definitely a bit smaller than I expected, but in a cute, intimate way that works well for the vibe they’re going for. The service was genuinely good, and our waitress, Lindsay, was amazing. She had great recommendations and really helped guide us through the menu. My boyfriend ordered the rib cap steak and said it was pretty good. It doesn’t compare to Don’s Prime in Vegas, but he still enjoyed it overall. As for me, my steak, the side items, and the dessert were all really tasty. I’d definitely recommend everything I ordered. If I had to call something out, the cocktails weren’t my favorite I’ve had better so just something to keep in mind. But the food itself was solid, and the overall experience was great. I’d rec
Definitely a cute place. The hot rock A5 wagyu is outstanding. Everyone I was with had the 10 oz filet and I had the bone in ribeye. Everything was cooked to the right temp, however I will say there was far too much char on my ribeye which made it not as enjoyable. Some of the bourbon on the menu couldn’t be served as they didn’t have all allocated bottles in which was unfortunate. Sides were fine. Table loved the cheesy potatoes and baked potatoes. Mashed potatoes were fine but the Mac and cheese definitely could’ve used more cheese and seasoning. Espresso martini was pretty good. Dessert for all of us was extremely disappointing. Fudge cake was super dry crème brûlée was overly thick, bourbon butter cake wasn’t anything special. The bourbon float, if you’re looking for a buzz, this is it
