Great place to pick up farm-fresh eggs, take out, and a variety of delicious, healthy food. They had ready-made gluten-free options that looked great - and a delicious lemon-basil pasta salad. Looking forward to trying their special catered dinner options. Nice option for all-season Elyites, visitors, and nearby neighbors. Highly recommended.

I just took your awning down…like ten minutes ago, drove off and as I took a bite of this ‘Hot Beef Commercial’ I darn near dropped the clutch and was seriously considering turning this crane truck around just so I could personally tell the chef “hell yes!” Then I realized I’ll be back to put it up so I will then. I’m impressed how you utilized classic flavor profiles (that’s what a hot beef commercial should be, comfortable and known) but with much more subtlety than most do. You didn’t run a mock & dump garlic powder, and roasted garlic, and garlic paste and garlic aioli and a garlics butt into the potato’s but it’s there. It’s supportive garlic, what a potato needs. I’ve stopped by the new Boundary Waters Kitchen twice now - once for a sandwich and just now for breakfast. Not only was the food extremely delicious (best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in Ely) and made to order, but I witnessed the owner empowering his employees and actively cultivating a positive work environment. Love to see that in action. I will be back, and highly recommend that you visit!

To say the food was incredible would be an understatement! We recently had Boundary Waters Kitchen & Market cater a work retreat at our cabin in Ely, MN, and it was one of the best meals we’ve ever had up north. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner!) Chris and Tad were punctual, upbeat, and so easy to coordinate with — even when it came to food sensitivities. The quality of the food was absolutely amazing: fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The best part? Not having to worry about meal prep or cleaning up after a long day on the water. They handled everything so we could just relax and enjoy our time together. If you’re looking for delicious, stress-free catering in Ely or the Boundary Waters area, I can’t recommend Boundary Waters Kitchen & Market enough. Incredible food, wonderful p
