Boulevard Hot Bagels

Rocky, I’ve been coming to your place for almost 20 years and I love your establishment. I’m gonna ask a favor however please. I love your asiago bagels. The problem is in the past month. I’ve been coming every Saturday. The bagels aren’t available until after 7 o’clock, at least And I come at 9 o’clock asking for one and they say they don’t have anymore and they’re not making it anymore. Today I came at 8:30 and they haven’t even been out yet. This is plenty of the French toast ones that are also only available on the weekends, but apparently they’re making one dozen of the asiago‘s and that’s it. Could you please ask them to make more, especially to satisfy the Saturday crowd? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

My husband grew up in the area and this is by far the best bagel spot around. The classic sesame or everything 🥯 never disappoint as a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich or plain w/cream cheese. Also, highly recommend their drip coffee. It’s the perfect balance of full bodied but not acidic. Edited to add: The staff is so kind and treats you like family. I recently stopped in for a bacon, egg, & cheese and was reminded of just how good their thick cut bacon is - simply delicious.

Been coming here for years, and this review has been brewing for a while. The amount of times I come home with a wrong order or bacon missing from a BEC sandwich is unreal. AS I WRITE THIS IM COOKING MY OWN BACON AGAIN SINCE IT WAS LEFT OFF. The cost has skyrocketed in recent years (as many other posters have also mentioned). The whole “egg shortage” was an excuse to raise prices that we all knew would never come back down. Half the time the phones are never answered, and multiple employees seem like they’d be happier almost anywhere else in the world. Starting to get to that point of finding a new goto bagel spot which is unfortunate because we’ve always liked this place…but time and time again (and clearly review and review again) seem to all be saying the same things. Fix it.

Gave this place another shot after a year later of eating their chicken salad and damn it was disgusting . Got the worst food poisoning . They must have made that a month ago I couldn’t even finish it . Never again will I go back and I wouldn’t recommend this place. Back to bagel chalet in commack - who never disappoints

$8.70 cash price for a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Absolutely criminal! There’s no other word for it. Well, maybe greedy works too. Will never go back. Oh and don’t blame egg prices, I purchased 18 eggs at Wegmans this weekend for $2.19.
