Born and raised in Madison County and just visited for the first time with a couple friends. The food was a 10/10! The owner was walking around and talking to guests, he was so kind! The drinks were good. My friends both said it was the best dirty martini they had ever had. The special drinks are superrrrr sweet. Overall a great experience!
A kicked backed establishment where the waitresses are super nice. A drink list of martinis a page long plus beer and wines. Public parking, can be hard to find a parking spot. Oh the food, to die for. Pizza like you’ve never imagined along with old stand-by’s…. If you are looking for something different… I heartily suggest you try it out!
My favorite ,the Liguorian pizza, was perfection. If you haven't tried this pizza you are missing out as the combination of shrimp, sun-dried tomatoes and walnuts is as outstanding as it is unusual. The crisp romaine lettuce and Caesar dressing was refreshing and healthy. And the lemon drop martini set the tone for a most enjoyable evening at cozy Bossanova. Friends were irreplaceable....
So I've been here a few times and it was okay. Tonight, completely different. Never been treated so rudely. The bar staff was rude, the owner yelled, "hey" at patrons to get their attention. My glass was cleared before emptied, my plate taken before my last bite, only to be returned in a mocking manner asking if I wanted my last bite. It was both ridiculing and obnoxious. It's quite sad. I guess they can't deal when it gets too busy.
Food was generally good. The jaws drink was good. The foxy Cleopatra was not so good. The Bossa fgt BLT was very good. The toasted ravioli were dry. For a Friday night it was very uncrowded. I'd go back but have reservations because a guy walked in with a dog and, although it was leashed, it was jumping all over other seated guests. Restaurants are for eating, not walking your dog. Just IMHO
