Boone County Public Library - Florence Branch

We recently moved from Ohio, and I’ve taken my child to many libraries across different states—but the librarian who conducts Sleepy Tales and other baby story times at the Florence branch is truly one of the best we’ve experienced. She is creative, energetic, inclusive, and you can genuinely tell she loves what she does. Her passion for early childhood learning shines through every session. Thank you for making story time such a joyful, welcoming, and memorable experience for little ones. We appreciate you, and we wish you all the success in your career—you’re destined for great things!

I have always had a deep APPRECIATION for the Staff here. I'm not a computer or tech pro I need help & they are AMAZING, PATIENT helpers / educators. I'd DEFINITELY be lost in this work world, with SO Many documents & RN applications I've done. There's NO WAY I'd be where I am today without their expertise & assistance !! THANKS TO ALL BC LIBRARY STAFF - MAIN BRANCH - ‼️❣️‼️

I was just about to comment on how loud this library is but I see someone has already beat me to it. Excessive chip bag noise, cell phones & conversations not to mention snoring. None of that is allowed at the movies so why his library. I understand it's a small library but I shouldn't hear the entire conversation of the staff while they are in there area and I'm on the other side of the roomagaroom the windows.

I have been coming here since I was in Girl Scouts over 15 years ago. You will never meet a sweeter, more patient, respectful, and helpful staff. The library is always clean and organized, and they are truly kind and caring—a true boon to the community! What made me want to write this review was a staff member today who approached me about my service dog. Bringing a service dog everywhere already brings its own challenges, but today I realized I had left my pup's vest at home and had to go in without it. I was honestly prepared to be asked to leave, but a kind staff member approached me and simpley asked what task my dog provides, then left me be without hovering. A year ago I had came here for the first time. I was put on the street with my ex. I was exploring options for a way to relax, and get my mind off of the fact that I was on the streets. I didn't expect to be going there as often as I did. (Two months) They didn't see us as revenue for the business, they saw us as people. Treated us as people. Everything was PERFECT!!! One of the workers even got the nickname "the library fairy" because she always looked like a fairy straight out of a fairytale. Hell they even extend people's time on the computer as many times as needed. If I was in the same situation I'd do it again with this library. I hope one day to visit this library. 10/10 would recommend this place even if you are homeless
