Boondocks Cafe

Wonderful place for a great breakfast! When I come to work in Wadena am here every morning for breakfast!! Price is reasonable, I typically spend $10 +tip. Well worth it! Staff is fantastic!

My wife and I recently stopped for lunch at Boondocks Cafe on our way into Nisswa, and it was a very nice experience. The cafe has a charming, homey vibe that instantly made us feel welcome. The prices are reasonable, and it's clear that this is a cherished spot for locals, as the staff greeted many customers by name. The food was fantastic—very wholesome and appeared homemade, which added to its appeal. We left feeling satisfied and happy to have found such a gem. If you’re in the area, I recommend stopping by Boondocks.

Very nice staff and down home cooking. Everyone seems to know each other and what a friendly atmosphere. I recently moved back after many years and the quality is still there. They make the meals with love

Best caramel rolls on planet. Get them early because they sell out. Only available Thursday-Saturday. Cannot find it’s equal anywhere in Kansas City metro and have been looking for 35 years. Super friendly staff. Low prices.

My wife and I were traveling through and I chose this cafe based on the reviews. We both prefer small town cafes with home cooked meals over bar food. We were waited on immediately by a very friendly gal and got our beef commercials promptly. They were excellent. I won't forget this cafe next time I pass through. Actually, I'll probably plan the drive so we come through at lunch time again and it will be the beef commercials again.
