Boondocks BBQ

Hands down, the BEST small town BBQ we’ve had! We got a combo plate and it was big enough to fill both of us! Meat was tender and flavorful, seasoning was perfectly blended, smoky but not overwhelming, and juicy but not greasy. Definitely a MUST STOP if you’re driving through!!

Yall!! Go getchu some good BBQ!! Oh my goodness it was delicious! Boondocks BBQ - Wiggins the best we've eaten in a very long time. The staff was very friendly and inviting. We WILL definitely be back. Thank you Michael for being so kind to us.

Stopped in for dinner for the first time this evening. Staff was incredibly friendly and made excellent suggestions. We had the brisket tacos…BBQ style, the honey bbq wings, potato casserole and the apple cobbler. The tacos were tasty and generously filled (get a fork)😊 the wings were perfectly crispy and saucy, the potato casserole is the perfect warm comfort food and the cobbler was heavenly. Can’t beat the friendly staff. The place is clean, including the restrooms, and relaxing. Great experience.

Went for lunch on. A recommendation. We both had ribs and brisket. I asked if they serve burnt ends. Our server, Elizabeth said they don’t because iii wouldn’t have enough for a full order. She asked the chef if they had enough for a full order. He sent me all he had on the house. They were terrific. The ribs were better than anywhere on the coast. The brisket was outstanding. I had onion rings and coleslaw as sides. The onion rings were made fresh. Most of the onion rings on yhe coast taste like they came out of a box. We have been going to a BBQ place in Gulfport. Not anymore. I’m going back to Boondocks from now on.

Excellent BBQ. Me and my wife stopped in for lunch one day. Was greeted when we walked in and staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a rib plate, brisket plate and some wings. Ribs and brisket were great! Sides were all good. Highly recommend the baked potato casserole. Owner came and talked to us for 10-15 minutes while we waited on fresh brisket. He was very friendly. He ended up bringing us some of their apple cobbler to try. Overall great food and top notch staff. Highly recommend!
