Customer Reviews
Hole in the wall, perfect for a pit stop/lunch during a motorcycle day trip. The food was very decent. Typical bar food. Service was interesting only because we were greeted by a fairly large dog. Some may have issues with that. You need to go through a hallway before getting to the main dining area. It was difficult to know if it was open or if anyone was there at first. It all worked out.
Terrific service our waitress was the best we've had in a long time! Not only did she warmly greet us immediately upon our arrival; the entire time she was attentive to our table. Wonderful views from the lake if you are eating on the deck. Affordable prices and clean bathroom, especially if you have children. Overall great experience and will continue to go back!
When the menu says market price for chicken wings you know you should stop looking at the menu. Restaurants in general are greedy and gouging people like crazy these days, but chicken wings are the biggest rip off going. About 6 ounces of meat for eight chicken wings, which is actually four chicken wings. You don't cut a chicken leg in half and call it two legs, but restaurants will gladly cut one wing apart and call it two wings. Chicken wings used to be a throw away meat, but they have convinced people they are worthy of delicacy prices. Stop eating at restaurants, they are laughing at you! I got Perdue chicken wings on sale a few weeks ago for .99/lb.. I bought several packages, which consisted of about 9 or 10 sections per package and were around $1.80 each. I bought 10 packages so aro
Place is very dark and not terribly clean. Had a strange “old” smell to it and nobody there but my friends and I. Not a Pleasant atmosphere at all.
Hands down- the best burger I've ever had! Please forgive me, but I've nicknamed "The Dexter", which is an amazing burger with bacon, "The Crackburger", because I am addicted!! A huge shout out to Rose, the owner, who is always there to make sure things are running smoothly and has a wonderful, witty way about her!
