Boomarang Diner - Shawnee Broadway

18 dollars for this is a joke, fry’s cold and lack there of, burger had no dressing on it, Trisha is very sweet and seems good at her job as a waitress but this is horrible. Will not be going back here.

Everything you love about old school diners is definitely still alive and well at The Boomerang! The food was fresh and hot. The staff were super friendly and patient. This is definitely one of those places to sit and have a good meal with friends and not worry about breaking the bank. They had several regulars that came in while I was there. The staff greeted them by name, knew their order, and talked to them like family. I could definitely see my wife and I coming back here on a regular basis.

I hate to say this but I recently took my family to Boomerangs on Broadway and my wife and me were very disappointed. Hamburgers and Pickle-Os were good but the chicken tenders were not, don't get me wrong they were cooked right on the inside but the outside tasted burnt which mean the oil in the fryer is not getting cleaned properly or not cleaned at all. My Reuben was also not very good which was disappointing, the meat was over cooked and the rye bread was very close to being burnt and I enjoy getting Reubens here because it is usual good not to mention they advertise it as a real reuben sandwich. The staff was friendly even though they acted like they were super busy with only 4 tables being waited on. I hope this was only a one time thing because it was very off putting for some where

Super friendly staff and character of the restaurant was neat. Fried mushrooms were absolutely amazing. The mushroom burger was on soft sour dough bread and homemade hamburger patties.

Cup was dirty, they didn’t bring us what we asked for, forgot our lemons, hard to get a refill on coffee. Only 2 tables in the whole restaurant that had people on it so there shouldn’t have been a wait. Waitress that was working was short and had a stressed out attitude. Guessing the 2 tables was overwhelming for her. I would definitely NOT recommend this location for boomerang.
