Customer Reviews
I walked 3.6 miles to this location to buy a Bible. I am a disabled veteran who is dying and not able to work. I walked in and put my back pack down by the door when an employee approached me. I asked where the Bibles were she showed me. After finding the right one and case for it as I walked up to the counter I saw that apparently she had been watching me the whole time. Not cool. Not the way to make customers feel respected. I will be praying for her.
Out of all the bookstores I've visited, Books-A-Million is by far my favorite, and the Fort Smith Pavilion location is amazing! I've always been able to find exactly what I'm looking for (and even a few surprises that I didn't even know I needed)! The staff has always been really kind and helpful without fail. The coffee shop, Joe Muggs, is a favorite of mine as well! I always love whatever I order.
My favorite big bookstore! This is my first time at this location, and it was a nicely stocked and clean store. The bookstore staff was friendly and helpful. I love their Disney section and their fun gifts although they are quite pricey. They always have a great clearance section too. The coffee shop, Joe Muggs, wasn't as great though. They have changed their menu and no longer have Italian sodas which was a bummer. They did have fun literary themed drinks this visit like Butterbrew from Harry Potter and The Red Queen from Alice in Wonderland, which we tried and liked. My husband thought the brewed coffee wasn't great (lacked flavor and scorching hot) and they had no milk or cream avail on the condiment station. I do wish BM offered a kids program or free rewards program like Barnes and No
Great store, great staff, and great selection of materials. Could use some a/c and some indoor window plants. Otherwise 8/10 overall!
I work right next to this store and I usually go in here when I’m go on my break, and I sometimes can find some good stuff, and other stuff I wait. The people that work there are super kind.
