Popped in for lunch by chance and by god the pizza was amazing. The special that week was vodka sauce pizza with a side of dipping vodka sauce, and it was to die for. Semi-casual atmosphere where they seat and serve you so there is an 18% service charge included. But worth it.
I did not have the full experience here because I arrived right as they were closing. However, despite this, they served us with a smile and the food did not disappoint. We got a “Detroit style” pizza with vodka sauce and pepperoni, which was delicious! I also loved the decor in here and cannot wait to go back. Seriously though, props to them for not ushering us away!
I ordered from boogy and peel because I wanted to try something new and am happy I did. The pizza does not deliver well, the crust came soggy, but it would have been amazing if I ate there. The pizza is packed with flavor and spice. I had the macha roni and loved it!!! The wings were not good. They were overcooked and the sauce did not stay on them. The Italian sandwich was very nice. I prefer something rich and filling, but their take on it is light and airy. You get all the flavors but you’re not weighed down after eating it. I’d order it again.
This is, hands-down, the best pizza you’ll get in Washington DC. Being originally from Connecticut, it has been difficult to find really good pizza in Washington DC however over the last few years the options have gotten much better. This pizza joint blows all of them out of the water. To me, their Macharoni Is the best bite of pizza you can get in the entire DMV. It is also really difficult to find a good buffalo chicken pizza in this area, and this one is absolutely phenomenal. They’re dough holds up incredibly well, their pies are always perfectly cooked and never rushed even when they’re busy like some other places, and ingredients are a superb quality and really shine through. I have friends who come to visit once a year from Florida and New Jersey and each year they always request
I hate to be this person because I love the macharoni pizza but if I’m spending $13 on the salsa macha that is advertised to be 8oz, I expect more than a not even half filled 16oz pint container. I don’t expect it to be all the crisp but this is a little sad and ridiculous.
