At first, I was skeptical about this Mexican restaurant. I thought I was going to get Americanized Mexican food! BUT NO! The food was so delicious I didn't eat the plate because I couldn't! The tortilla chips are so good and crunchy! They don't serve alcohol, but they have non alcoholic drinks! But there is a liquor store next door, you can buy your alcohol, bring it to the restaurant, and it's BYOB. They have brunch from Friday to Sunday until 3pm! Can't wait to go back and bring my friends.
If you want AN EXPERIENCE, that doesn't feel like a strip-mall American Mexican joint, come HERE. The atmosphere is on POINT! It's uplit all around, with hanging vines, flowers, hand painted murals, & decor that feels like you actually went somewhere. It's fun just to be in here, let alone the food experience and oh wowwww... Their guac is fresh to go with their housemade chips. I had the best chicken tortilla soup I've ever had and my tacos were authentic. As a west coast transplant to Jersey, I was thrilled w this. This tastes, look and feels like Mexican food from home. Cloth napkins, water goblets, exceptional service... this place gets 10 stars.
Very cool atmosphere with how the interior looks. Food and service were top notch!
Atmosphere is really nice…. This location does NOT sell alcoholic beverages. I was told that they have another location in Warwick, NY that DOES have a liquor license. The carne asada tacos were AMAZING! The meat was flavorful and melted in your mouth. They were not cheap with the amount of ingredients on the loaded nachos. We had a piña colada which was ok. The guacamole was really good too. I gave it a 4 stars because find parking is challenging it’s a small place so it can feel a bit cramped. Our waitress Bailey was AMAZING! Super attentive and very friendly! She was definitely a highlight from our visit.
Ambience was top tier, service was very on point.. food was subpar. A bit mediocre for Mexican food, well cooked, well prepared, excellent delivery. Just very bland, not much flavor.
