Bonchon Hyattsville

I ordered fried rice at the Hyattsville location expecting the same quality as Rockville, but the food and presentation were noticeably worse. The rice was bland, not spicy as advertised, and felt thrown together rather than prepared in-house. It also came in plain, unbranded packaging with no cucumbers to cool the tongue when the spicy was too much. unlike Rockville’s standard. It literally didn’t taste the same I kid you not, you can compare them. It’s day and night. The picture is the Rockville location. It was spicy, plenty, and VERY flavorful. Wish I had the Hyattsville location pic but , who wants to take picture of mediocrity. Since this is the same menu and brand, this lack of consistency is unacceptable.

The food was terrible. It looks great but does not taste great and is not quality food. It took a while to get our food and my friend was bitten by mosquitoes inside the restaurant. I was so excited to eat here from the ads I saw and I went with a friend yesterday and we both got the yum drum trio and I also got the mopo corn dog. The chicken was either old or cooked in old oil, it was difficult to eat, the fries were hard and tasted reheated and even the mopo corn dog had a freezer burn taste in the potatoes on it. It was incredibly disappointing and I couldn’t even finish my meal. On top of that a couple of hours after eating I got sick. I’m not sure if this is a bad batch but I would warn others about going to this location. I would have been better off getting supermarket fried chicken

First time trying this place out. The wings were addicting with the breading and all. Got the soy garlic but definitely didn't taste any garlic. Very salty and mostly soy. The Korean donuts were to die for. Staff was attentive and friendly. I would try again in the future.

We ordered from here in the past and enjoyed the bone in wings! This time we tried the 30pc boneless wings and unfortunately it tastes completely different, what a let down. They are absolutely not the fresh Korean fried chicken that we expected, they instead taste like dry frozen tysons chicken bites coated with sauce. The breading is completely different from the bone in option, and its just sad that we paid $50 for this. I cant recommend this place anymore.

I know not every store in a chain is the same but I I've had Bonchon many times and in teokkbokki they always give me seaweed rolls boiled eggs and fish cake but I only got the fish cake I paid $17 for a single bowl of teokkbokki with just a couple pieces of fish cake and another almost $20 on chicken bimbap the food taste good but the portions arent matching the cost but the other one I go to I've never had that problem idk
