Bojangles

Huge shout-out to the Vanceboro Boj which is, apparently, the only Boj left in NC that doesn't use that horrendous AI ordering system. I was so happy to hear a human on the other side of the drive through speaker that, after 15 years of ordering Boj, I forgot what I wanted. Food was good too.

Absolute dumpster fire of a place. I've given this place its fair chance. Time and time again returning home with the wrong order or not all of it. The chicken legs being smaller than the palm of your hands. Fries being cold. Just all in all they seem to be working their hardest towards disappointment. Current example today; I arrived at 6:30 pm, placed my order in the drive thru. Was told to pull forward due to a wait on the chicken sandwich (understandable). 25 minutes later I went to go inside to check on food. There was a party coming in after I walked in. Decided to go back around through the drive thru to get my order. When arriving back at the window had to remind them they'd left me pulled up sitting. The lady at the drive thru window asked another employee where my order was. The

Meh... was not impressed with the staff, not at all friendly on my visit. Food... mediocre. The chicken was dry, fries were dry, I wasn't impressed at all. The dinning area was dirty with trash on tables and food on the floor. I get it, it's a fast food joint and probably not the most exciting job but have some pride where you work. Clean the place up and make some fresh food, not heat lamp food. The coffee was good though...

Good gawd this food was delicious! I haven't seen one of these places in a couple decades. Ate the the one off of West 118 in North Carolina, across from the Shell Gas Station and the food was super fresh, hot, and downright awesome! I thought I was the only one who liked seasoned salt on my fries! Nope! Bojangles does as well! Excellent chicken tenders and the biscuits taste as if they are made from scratch. Highly recommended as on top of all that you get great customer service.
