Bojangles

6:10 AM and I walk in, only to be ignored. You know the people who walk in to your store are just as important as the people in the drive through.

This property needs help, the bathrooms have not been cleaned this year, the tables were dirty in the lobby, sticky, the drink area was a mess, the tea dispensers had no lids on top, very unsanitary, tea running down the wall and sitting in the corner of the floor, looked like it had been there all day. The counter in the drink area had not been wiped down all day, we would not return to this location, ceiling tiles missing.

The communication here is terrible. I came in on Wednesday afternoon to place an order for Friday morning. Was asked to use the app. After trying for 20 min the order still would not go through. Guy wrote down the order and said he would pass along. Friday morning comes and nothing. They were not told about the order. This location and the Newberry one are now off my list of go to places for large breakfast orders.

I got a 3 piece chicken supremes meal with mac and cheese and sweet tea. I took my picture after eating one of the tenders and tearing up the biscuit. We ordered through the drive through, which is in the process of remodeling, and it was simple enough. The food was good and the service was pretty quick, so I can’t ask for more!

We had a very concerning experience at this Bojangles location. We attempted to order 16 pieces of chicken and were told it would be $65. The employee stated it wasn’t a busy day but said he would have to make it fresh then repeatedly tried to talk us out of ordering because he didn’t want to start the fryer. At a chicken restaurant, being discouraged from buying chicken is baffling. When I calmly mentioned I would leave a Google review, he began yelling out the drive-through window. The comments were unprofessional and completely unnecessary. My interaction was firm but polite. If ownership is wondering about lost sales, this may be part of the issue. This experience does not reflect well on the brand.
