An amazing spot to get some beautiful rocks and see a great view. Perfect Beach to hang out in and very easy to find and easy to get to. Not a long walk at all
Okay the BAD : Freaking DEER FLY. I had to leave bc I was getting absolutely annihilated by them, and I mean by the 100’s 🤢 The PERFECT : This beach. If the dang flies weren’t around it’s incredible. So many rocks, calm waters, very few people. I’ve been coming to Michigan my entire life and this beach is truly a hidden gem. Just kill all the dang flies so you can actually enjoy it. We only lasted about 20 m before I couldn’t take it.
This is such a beautiful beach ⛱️ There is a side for dogs, so we went with our pup and had a great time. You can see for miles and there's lots of rocks for collecting and good swimming. It was very easy access, and it was not crowded at all.
Wide sandy beach. Beautiful views.
A nice little gem with lots of rocks hunting if you're into that type of thing. A beautiful lakeshore with very few people on a 4th of July weekend. Pets are allowed on a leash, free parking and no cost to enter the beach area.
