Bodhi Viet Vegans is my family favorite place to stop by to eat whenever we visit Austin. There are so many delicious dishes at this place. Crspy rice patty which is a new an additional item on the menu which is now our new favorite dish. We often order Golden fried egg rolls, Lemongrass Turmeric steam rice seitan, Savory BBQ noodle, Bodhi Spicy Noodle - Bun Hue and Crispy sesame ball for desert (delicious mung bean filling). I would highly recommend this place.
The best vegan food in the city in my opinion! Affordable and indistinguishable from non vegan food. It inspires me to eat more plant based and get creative. The bahn mi, vermicelli plate, and sesame balls were delicious :)
My family & I absolutely LOVEEEEE this spot! We have been loyal customers for about 6 years now, driving a whole hour just to indulge in their authentic cuisine. My daughter is obsessed with the ramen & I most definitely take a 12pc of fried rolls any chance I get. The strawberry milk tea is delicious! My husband cannot stay away from the R1 and always orders two. They are so kind and very knowledgeable of their foods. We love you guys so much & can’t wait to make our next trip out there!! Keep making great food with all the love you all pour into this. Thank you so much for providing us with such an authentic and amazing dishes.
Food great, people awesome. Vegan boba?! Try the taro milk tea. Not too sweet, with a great flavor. My friend loved the green tea version. We went two times. Seeing the regulars interact with the staff was so telling. People come not just for the food but the great service. It was challenging to find the actual food truck. It’s not visible from the street. Look for the signs and they will lead you to it. It’s right next to a psychic shop. If you’re not super into fake meat, this may not be your vibe. I prefer tofu and wish there were more tofu based dishes. The tofu is deep fried with a beautiful crisp. The caramelized and orange tofu were delicious!! Most of the side veggies were steamed cabbage/carrot. A little plain but a healthy contrast to the heavier elements. Portions are so gener
My favorite place to eat ever. The folks who tirelessly staff the food truck everyday they are open, every week of the year, are truly such kind souls and phenomenal chefs. Their food brings a warmth to my heart and a fullness to my belly. And for the portion sizes and quality, the prices are unbeatable. So highly recommend.
