This bread is absolutely amazing. We’ve had plain sourdough, brown sugar sourdough and the limited chocolate croissant sourdough. Can’t stop eating all of them. Delivery is ALWAYS on time. Love that we found Bode Bread Company. Our ONLY go to for sourdough bread from now on.

Amazing bread! As a former northern Californian, I've really been missing good sourdough bread. Have tried tons here in FL, and until now not found anything even close. No, this isn't SF sourdough--it's a different variety--but every bit as good. I'm sold. [Note: I'm not describing "atmosphere," etc. b/c this is a pick-up establishment.]

Highly recommend Bode Bread Co for your go-to local microbakery sourdough cravings! The staples that are offered are consistently amazing, and it is nice to have a variety of special flavors and items that make an appearance weekly! Ordering online is very easy, and it is helpful there is a pick up or delivery option as they are in the heart of the Lakewood Ranch communities. Some of my favorites: cheddar jalapeno, Italian herb and cheese, and the cookies!! It is awesome to get the chance to support a working mom that is giving back to the community through her endeavors!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this bakery! Every loaf is baked with such care - you can truly taste the love in every bite. The sourdough is perfectly crusty on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside, and always arrives fresh and beautifully packaged. My favorites are the Lemon Blueberry and Jalapeno Cheddar.

Bode’s Bread Company is a true neighborhood gem. Heather pours so much passion and heart into every loaf — the perfect crisp on the outside, soft and delicate on the inside, and it stays fresh beautifully when stored properly. We love walking over to pick up our bread; Heather has such gracious charm, and her family is just wonderful. We’re grateful to be their neighbors and absolutely love supporting this incredible local talent.
