Bob’s steak and hoagies

I stopped by Bob’s steak and hoagies and was really impressed! The staff was friendly and attentive, and my cheesesteak was cooked just right — juicy, flavorful steak topped with perfectly melted cheese. The whole sandwich had great balance and the roll held up well. Definitely a tasty spot worth trying if you’re craving a good cheesesteak! 10/10

As a first-timer in Philly, I wanted my first cheesesteak to be unforgettable. I hopped in a Lyft headed to a spot I'd found online, but my driver insisted I try Bob's Steaks instead--he said their chicken cheesesteak was the best he'd ever had, especially with Cooper Sharp and American mixed. So we happily changed course. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth. Curtis found out it was my first Philly cheesesteak and said, "I got you." I told him to make it how he'd like it--and wow, he nailed it. The service, the family vibe, and the flavor were all incredible. Upon coming in the establishment is lit up and aesthetically pleasing. The customer service and thoroughness when ordering was great. Everything was made to order, the cheesesteak was flavorful and it was real chicken chopped finely, and it wasn’t dry. That FISH hoagie was also delicious. The fish was flavorful, crispy and it was a great portion. The fries were good too, crinkle cut (I loved that I didn’t taste no dirty oil). Definitely will be trying other items on the menu.

Really solid spot with a great cheesesteak, and other menu options so there’s something for everyone. Made to order right in front of you and service was excellent. If I were a local, I’d be a regular customer for sure.
