*** in Top 10% of Google Eatery reviewers in the US 🙂 *** Wow. ........wow. Awesome roadside BBQ! Worth getting off the interstate. Super easy access. The proprietors are super nice and welcoming. Don't be fooled by the touristy billboards for Florida Citrus center (which has cool stuff and is worth walking through). Just smelling the smoke is free, but order the food, which is stupid good. We had the rib tips, which fell off the bone and very flavorful. The baked beans were also amazing (flavored with cinnamon?) Put it this way, there's a reason they've bean (pun intended) in business for 14 years.

Bob’s Famous BBQ did not disappoint! Our family dinner was absolutely delicious. The ribs and chicken were full of smoke flavor, and the BBQ sauce had an amazing taste that pulled everything together. The collard greens tasted homemade, the potato salad was creamy and perfectly seasoned, and all the flavors on the plate were spot on. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommend!

My husband and I drove from Orange Park to here after a few of his coworkers highly recommended it. One said that he comes every week. We purchased the double rib tips, chicken & ribs dinner, and 1/2 chicken dinner. Good grief, it was a lot of food and it all was so tender and delicious. It was hard for me to choose which sauce was the best, so I'll likely get all of them the next time we go. I don't have a pic of the rib tips because I dropped them off to my "picky eater" mom who absolutely raved about them. I can't lie, they were THAT good! Actually, all of the food was. Then, you add great customer service from the ladies, you'll see why Bob's is famous. Looking forward to our next visit. We can't wait to try other items on the menu.

I usually wait to leave a review after multiple visits to really get a feel for a place. I'm big on consistency. I don't mind the cost as long as you can be consistently good. Every time I visit this establishment I spend $30-$50 minimum on a dinner and a dessert. It's been a while since it's been worth the drive and price. I don't know who's making the sides, said with love, find a new person to cook those. The mac and cheese has been horrendous the last few visits. The yams aren't sweet. Rib tips are hit or miss. I really hate to leave a bad review because I like patronizing this business, but I want them to care more and do better. Positive: The desserts are always good. I thoroughly enjoy the cakes.

Sorry, but being from the south. I stopped and tried pulled pork sandwich. It's cool that it's local and run that way but it did take right at 20 minutes to get one barbecue sandwich with no one else but myself, also the pork had lot of fat in it. But the final nail in the coffin was a price one pulled pork sandwich and ice water $17 and change with no tip. Needless to say it's a tourist trap and a family of four stopping by just for some lunch could hit $100 easy. But do what you want.
