Bobops Famous Chicken

This is a Marathon Gas Station that sells fried chicken. I stopped here for gas and a restroom break. The chicken didn’t smell tempting. The bathroom had below average cleanliness. There are other gas stations up the road. If I go through here again, I’ll definitely try a different place.

Big flavor, small price! Do not make assumptions about the location. The chicken was great and the mac and cheese was amazing! Cornbread was really good too. Had the peach cobbler for dessert. Left the I-95 traffic and heading north and found this little gem.

We stopped here on a road trip and found their food here. We decided to go ahead and get some for our long trip. We took some food and loved it from first bite! While their setup in the gas station is a bit weird their food is amazing! Guest service was very nice and their prices are best! They deserve a much better setup and their own building!

Best fried okra and apple cobler I've ever had. I am Savannah-southern, have traveled quite a bit, and know some amazing chefs... I am not exaggerating, the chicken is great, but you MUST try the okra and cobbler! Miss, Londa, you come on up to Knoxville any time.

My mistake again--two weeks ago when I was here, I was distracted by the B safety rating and didn't notice the sign that said the card machine was down so the server had a hissy fit when I tried to use my card--this time I was so busy looking for a sign about the card machine that I didn't notice the C rating until I walked out.
