Bobby's Frozen Custard

This was my third time at Bobby’s Frozen Custard, and I’m officially hooked! I’ve tried the Hard Rock Cashew and a couple of other flavors absolutely amazing every time. The custard is rich, creamy, and just melts in your mouth. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. It’s no surprise why people from all over Edwardsville and the surrounding area love this place it really is something special. If you haven’t been to Bobby’s yet, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it!

I wish that I could give this place more than 5 stars! Every time we come to visit family in the area here we always stop by Bobby’s once or twice for one of their famous concretes or sundaes. I especially enjoy their “special” concretes that are seasonal and change often. They have plenty of free parking, plenty of covered and uncovered outdoor seating, and even a drive through for those that prefer to stay in their cars. Prices are very reasonable, and service is fairly fast, even when they are really busy. Occasionally, they will have live music or car shows for some family entertainment. We will definitely keep returning here and recommending it to all of our friends and family.

I have been going to Bobbie’s for years…Here recently when I receive my order, the custard is sometimes 1 1/2 from the top of cup. We always get it to go, not sure if this is a policy change or the employee’s are not trained correctly. While waiting I have seen the drive though orders are to the top and then some. I asked the manager on duty, and she just grinned and walked away. For the price I would assume that they should be completely full. Poor quality control.

Extremely disappointed, we decided to order 4 large cookie dough concrete through drive thru tonight. When we get home to take them out of the bag, none are mixed well, half the cup was just vanilla ice cream, while only the top was mixed with cookie dough. One concrete was only 3/4 full, I was aggravated considering how much we paid, and disappointed at how poorly the product we got. We have been going to Bobby's for years. We won't be going back anytime soon.

I placed an order for specialty quarts 3 days before a party I had planned. I called to ask when I could pick them up only to find out that they did not process my order. I followed the instructions and ordered through the website at the direction of the employee I spoke with 3 days prior. Apparently all orders have to be called in instead of using the order process on the website. When I called, Joann was rude and dismissive. She was also unwilling to accommodate my request despite it being an error on their side. Love the custard here, but if you’re counting on someone to do the right thing, you won’t find them here.
