Customer Reviews
Food and service were top-notch! We came as a group of 5 motorcycle riders and had a great time. This place is truly a hidden gem, never expected to find something like this in Florida. Honestly, if you didn’t see it for yourself, you wouldn’t believe it exists.
we were the last 2 people exploring the castle and looking around, they were so kind to us and offered my daughter and myself dinner before we left, despite being closed. it was so gracious and welcoming inside the boat. we had the meatloaf and spinach side, deeeelicious!! i love that the food was homemade and it was better than I could have hoped for. we will definitely be back, and come hungry!
Not sure what happened! See lots of 5* reviews but that was sadly not our experience. Would not recommend for family dining. We were SO excited to dine here but sadly left hungry even after a $41 (incl tip) bill-CASH ONLY. 2 sodas $6, they were SO flat-poured from 2L bottles. Chicken Nachos $13: chips w/dry (so dry, SO dry & barely edible) shredded chicken topped with shredded cheddar cheese and then all MICROWAVED! No flavor at all. Kids refused to eat it. Chicken salad $12: iceberg topped w/egg, green pepper, cucumber slices, jarred pickle slices (?), bacon, onion slices, dry shredded chicken (a generous amount), & blu cheese crumbles. Excluding the chicken, the salad wasn’t bad. Poor waitress was 1/2 as they were short staffed. She was very pleasant and kind. No soda refills offered, wo
Solomens Castle....Castle tour plus has sit-down lunches. Cool place to visit. Unique artwork done with old metal pieces and wood. The tour guide inside the castle was insightful, and the tour is based on words of original artist and owner. Quite a unique sense of humor related to his works. Beautiful stained glass too. Sorry no pics allowed inside.
All the highway signs say "Solomon's Castle" so you go there, park in the smallish parking lot, walk past the "castle" and there sits the "boat". Unique destination attraction. Great for tourists.
