Board & Brew - Westlake Village

I love this place, I come here all the time for a beef dip add onion and a beer, it’s always perfect. I placed an order on Christmas Eve online while shopping in target as normal and went to pick it up to be told they were just closed. I told the gentleman that I had a pickup order and he was very confused after checking my confirmation. I asked if they could just refund the $50 (I get it everyone wants to go home). The gentleman up front didn’t have access to do so and they just had to make the food. When he went back to explain to the kitchen with multiple parties still in the restaurant eating the two ladies in the kitchen threw a fit. Wow, I dont have to travel 100 miles home to get the best sandwiches anymore. First bite took me straight back to Del Mar OG with all the ambiance of a perfect chill summer day in SoCal. In town for a wedding and picked Board and Brew because it was close to my hotel. Glad I did! Ordered the Tuna and my husband had the French dip. Both were excellent! Super fast service. Friendly staff.

Pass by this place all the time, super happy I finally went in. Service was great, the guy taking my order was really nice and the food came out relatively quickly. I got the Baja Wrap and was pleasantly surprised by it. The chicken was tender and had good flavor on its own. The spinach tortilla made it a great low carb and high protein menu item. And I can’t forget about the secret sauce. It is some kind of a sweet and sour sauce and would make a shoe taste good; especially when mixed with hot sauce, it’s the perfect bite. I also tried a bit of the Turkey Deluxe and it wasn’t dry, the way turkey sandwiches can be, and the sunflower seeds provided nice textural variety; again elevated by the secret sauce. I waited coming here quite a few times to review. I tried the turkado, beef dip, spicy beef dip, pastrami, Baja chicken and turkey club. I would say the spicy beef dip and the pastrami are incredible tasty hot sandwiches that demand one of their great beers to go with it. Definitely my two favorites. But if I was feeling like needing to be healthy I'd go with turkado and an iced tea. Turkado is the perfect turkey sandwich you'll stop trying to make at home. I thought the French roll on the cold sandwiches made the sandwich tougher but still good If you like that kind of bread. But the French roll shines on the hot sandwiches. I also favored the slided meats over the chicken. The Baja chicken seemed a bit small but was still very good. I hope that the beer remains cheap but I don't expe
