Bluestone Lane West End Café: Decent Spot, But Service Was Off Bluestone Lane West End Café was just... okay. We stopped by to get some work done on our laptops, and for that, it served its purpose. We grabbed a few things, including some cake. When we asked the employee if the cake was fresh, he took it a bit personally, acting a little offended and saying "Of course, it's for today." Honestly, though, it didn't really taste that fresh. The seating area wasn't the most comfortable for settling in, but we still managed to get a good chunk of work done before the rush. Speaking of which, the place definitely starts getting busy after 9 AM, so go early if you want a quiet moment! A short walk from hotel with a lovely bright atmosphere, delicious coffe and amazing breakfast options this ended up being our breakfast spot for our entire weekend trip. Staff is super friendly, fresh produce and the coffee is also superb. The only reason for not giving it a 5/5 for atmosphere is that the music is a tad bit loud for me in the early morning hours. Highly recommend it though!

We happened upon this place and we were in a hurry for a small and quick bite for breakfast. The atmosphere is open, clean and bright. The service was fast and attentive. We split the Bondi Blue Protein Smoothie. There was not a sip of this that tasted like it should be healthy. It was absolutely delicious and I would order it for dessert. The Soft Chili Scramble with Avocado has a nice but not overpowering chili kick. The scramble with toast and avocado to go with it was a great portion and scrumptious. I would definitely eat here again!

We had breakfast here on our second day in Washington and really enjoyed it. The food is really delicious and I especially recommend the chai latte. Definitely the best I've ever had. We were served by Sascha, a very friendly and lovely waiter. We would love to come back anytime!

Love the location. Recently stepped in while working with real estate clients in DC. The space is open and light with all of the great windows. Staff was super helpful and quick to communicate and get what was needed. Enjoyed the Americano!!
