Stuffed shrimp with crab - scrumptiously delicious. Oyster rockafella were so fresh. Chocolate bread pudding was light, moist and had fresh blueberries on it. My martini was perfect. 10/10! No wait because we got there before 5:00 for a table.

Blue Seafood & Spirits is a small, cozy spot in Virginia Beach that delivers big on flavor and hospitality. It was crowded when I arrived, so I sat at the bar—and I’m glad I did. Pauline, the bartender, was friendly, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out. Chef Charles personally came over several times to share the story behind his famous sweet potato biscuits, offer recommendations, and check in during my meal. That personal touch really stood out. I ordered the fried green tomatoes, crab soup, and a seafood combo, and every bite was absolutely delicious—fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Even the other guests at the bar were warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for excellent seafood, friendly service, and a place where the chef truly cares about the guest experience,

I’ll echo others by saying this was definitely a worthwhile experience but not necessarily because of the food. I think the prices are great for what you get and for the level of service/hospitality you receive. It feels very fancy because you get the sampler to begin with and the sweet potato biscuit. It’s really not an exaggeration that the waiters and what I’d assume are the managers / owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and special. You know you are eating at a local business and truly being treated like a guest in their house. The only thing I would be weary of is it can be very loud inside. I would assume our experience ( a packed house ) is the normal. So if you want quiet you may not enjoy the setting. TLDR: Food is good enough and you are treated like family.

Everything was delicious! Each dish was prepared with such intention and that showed through with each bite! From the moment I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by the Hostess and promptly greeted by my server, Kenzie. 🤗 The entire experience was so lovely, and to top it off, the chef himself came out and personally greeted and interacted with every, single guest! ❤️ He even knew his repeat guests and shared a quiet moment to appreciate them. It's not often anymore that you get to experience true hospitality, but you can definitely find that at Blue Seafood and Spirits. 😊 Highly recommend! ✨️

*THEY DO NOT TAKE RESERVATIONS* BUT...It's worth the wait. Very small quaint restaurant- upscale mom & pop feel. Emphasis on small! The service was amazing and each dish left us wanting more. Don't forget to get your sweet potato biscuits! Menu items ordered (party of four): starter - spoon full of ceviche Mama Charles' Brussels The soup of the day: Cream of crab 🦀 😋 Two orders of the fresh seafood combination: One with salmon and broiled Another with flounder and blackened add side garden salad. Both came with vegetable medley. One order of the seafood belle haven substituted a side Caesar salad 🥗 for an up charge served with mashed potatoes. Finally an order of the broiled lump crab cake and tempura fried asparagus (appetizer but order as an entree). My salmon was bland but the flavors o
