Blue Moon Cafe

This was quite the little gem for a non local. We were told about this place from a co worker regarding the bloody Mary. So we gave it a try. I would say this is one of the best places we have found in the Dothan area. The bloody Mary with the crab was really good. The Cajun pasta was definitely a go to choice. It had a different taste which I found pleasing. It had a buttery noodle Alfredo taste, definitely worth a try. The she crab soup was one of the best I've had and definitely enjoyed the thickness of it and tons of crab. I highly recommend it. The chicken and sausage gumbo was a little weak on flavor for me but overall this place rocked! The service was absolutely on point.

Yummy. We had the stuffed mushrooms to start. Then I had the debris poboy with fries and he had the fri d green tomatoes crab cake blt. Both were scrumptious. Atmosphere reminded us of when we lived in Nola. Lovely eclectic little place. Perfect

The food is amazing! The beefalo burger and fries are the best burger and fries I've ever had! The grouper cheeks are yummy also. They fry in tallow so everything tastes so good! The staff are friendly, helpful, and always make sure you have everything you need. The atmosphere is very cute and nice. This is becoming one of our favorite places!!

Great restaurant! The Boudin Balls and crab dip were delicious. I ordered the Parmesan crusted grouper, out of this world good. Cheese grits melted in your mouth. So much flavor. Hats off to the chef! Will be coming here whenever we are in Dothan.

It was a pretty nice place. Atmosphere was great. Food was alright. We ordered the Hot crab dip. I think it sat in the oven too long because a little under half of it was burned on the bottom. I had the Cajun chicken pasta. It was good but there was a little too much hotsauce I think. Probably good for others just tried something new and it wasn't what was expected. Not necessarily a bad thing. My husband had the fried Gator bites. They were good. The sauce they had was reaply great.
