Blue Gill Quality Food

First things first: some of the best food I’ve had in this town by far. I ordered three dishes, which was admittedly too much, but I didn’t realize the portions would be that generous. I’m only giving the service and atmosphere 4 stars because the service was a bit on the slow side, but understandably so since I was there during the 7-8 pm rush. The waitresses were super nice and helpful though. The dining room felt a little cold and cheap-ish, but I loved the open kitchen. Would give this place a full 10/10 if they offered delivery.

Excellent new restaurant. Excellent food choices and taste great. Not your standard fare, plenty of choices with the chef's own preparation. Well done! We will definitely be back. And in a great location.

The ambiance is definitely a highlight—it's modern and sleek. While we dined indoors, we noticed they also offer outdoor seating, which is a wonderful option to have. And while we aren't drinkers, the upscale bar area added a polished, elevated feel to the whole restaurant. ​The Appetizer and Mains ​We started with the Gulf Shrimp Cocktail, and it immediately set a high bar for the meal. The shrimp were very large and cooked absolutely perfectly, and the cocktail sauce was just as good as you'd find anywhere. ​For the main course, my husband ordered the Salmon. This restaurant was clean, and the staff were quick/attentive. They had specials that were disclosed to us immediately. We went with the salmon and risottok, fish sandwich and calamari. Everything was spot on and very hot. I love for my food to come to the table hot (not luke warm) and they delivered. We also had the cornbread to which I must say was the best. My hubby does not like cornbread as he says it's generally too grainy. This cornbread, he devoured. It was like cake and the soft honey butter that accompanied it took it up another tier. We recently visited Blu Gill Restaurant with a party of 20 for a family dinner, and overall it was a great experience. We were fortunate to have one amazing waitress, Gracie, who handled our large group incredibly well. She was attentive, friendly, and as quick as possible considering the size of our party. There were a few minor issues with orders not coming out exactly as requested, but Gracie was on it immediately and had everything corrected quickly with the kitchen. One family member wasn’t happy with the taste of her meal, and the staff promptly exchanged it for a better option, which we really appreciated. The food was delicious, and the customer service was truly top-tier. If you’re looking for a great place to dine especially for a group gathering. My only suggestion for the re
