Blue Elephant Thai Cuisine

Food: in general it’s not bad, but definitely a room to improve. The tom yum soup is our favorite. The drunken noodle isn’t spicy as we thought and so did the Mongolian beef. The seasoning seems not enough and the beef is quite hard to chew as well. The portion and the price doesn’t really match. Service: the staff is nice and helpful. We saw how they recommended dishes for the other table. Ambiance: it’s a very small restaurant but nicely decorated and clean. Not for big party for sure.

In A Nutshell: -Blue Elephant is a really good Thai restaurant. -If you are traveling through Bakersfield & in the mood for something that will satisfy your taste buds, then come grab a meal here. -I enjoyed their Eggplant w/ Chicken dish! -It's packed full of protein, eggplant & flavor. -Add the brown rice which pairs perfectly w/ it. Overall, this is a very good Thai restaurant in town.

Been here a few times and today we decided to try something different and it didn’t disappoint. We had the Tom Yum soup with chicken and it was so good and tasty. We also had the Pad Thai and Mongolian beef. Service and ambiance were great.

I’ve been coming to Blue Elephant for nearly 10 years, and they continue to impress every single time. It’s one of those rare restaurants where the flavors feel authentic, the service is consistent, and the food makes you want to come back again and again. Their menu truly has something for everyone — from the classics like Pad Thai (always a hit with family and friends) to the plant-based standouts that keep me hooked. This is one of my most favorite Thai restaurants and I like the fried shrimp rice with chicken pate. Their drink and beer selection are amazing. Always enjoy our dine in/take out experience here.
