Let me tell you.....just go there lol you want SOUTHERN COMFORT SOUL FOOD....HERE. PERIOD. I beat the road up for this plate💜💯 Been a customer since....10+ years easily Here....GO HERE....TRY IT...IF YOU DONT LIKE IT PLZ LET ME KNOW THE ISSUE lol I'm with the community poll for Blu Diner.

I really wanted to love this place because I believe in supporting Black-owned businesses. Our community deserves that. But the only real way to support us is to be honest, and this is coming from a genuine place. A lot of people hyped this restaurant up, and I understand why. When you walk in, the buffet display is clean and beautifully set up. The presentation honestly had me excited to eat. Everything looks good and well put together, and that first impression definitely pulls you in. But if we’re being real, the food and the customer service were mediocre. The staff always seem stressed out and carry an attitude like they don’t want to be there. That energy matters — it’s the face of the company, and it sets the tone before you even taste the food. Ordered a baked chicken meal & a turkey neck meal. Gravy was definitely bland for both meals. Chicken was bland & looked undercooked. Turkey necks had no flavor either. The sides tasted great but the main dishes were so lackluster. & Cashier lady with the dreads so damn rude 😭 always got a attitude

This was our first visit to Blu Diner. While reading over a posted copy of a menu, we mentioned to one of the staff members that it was our first time in the restaurant. They had a lot of options to choose from and at that point they took the time to show us all the food options available and answered any questions we had for them. Between all of us we had curry shrimp, ox tails, liver and onions, greens, sweet potatoes, black eyed peas, cornbread and one of the most delicious Macaroni and cheese dishes I have ever had. The food was hot not luke warm and very flavorful. Customer service was also great. We will definitely be visiting again and trying more of their food choices that we didn't get a chance to sample today.

I ordered the Baked Chicken, Yellow Rice, Mac’n Cheese and Yams. The food was well presented, very hot, very fresh. The flavors were outstanding. The chicken was well seasoned. I’ve honestly never had a sauce like that before and it was great! Definitely a must have in Jacksonville
