Bloomington Beach Swimming Area

Great place for get together, picnic, swimming and beach volleyball.

Nice little beach at the lake. There was a moderate amount of people around 10:30 - 11am. Maybe 50 to 75 people total. There was still tons of space. There is not a lot if shade so bring a tent thing or feel the wrath of the Kansas sun. Hope this helps you make your decision!

Nice beach. Nice shelters. Great looking playground. Good parking. Only one person walked under our canopy when no one else is around. Could have at least said hello if they were going to do that.

Just drove by to check this place out. We camped on the otherside (state side) and never knew there was a federal side to Clinton lake. So we took a cruise checking things out. And I had said as we pulled in.. HERES THE PARTY! We camped on the wrong side.. beautiful camp sites. Amazing Beach area and not a bunch of stairs involved for us handicapped folks. And can camp right by the water.

Looked like it was a fairly nice looking place to swim. Although the trash cans were overflowing with trash and one of the restrooms was really gross but you can't help what people do!
