Bloomfield Public Library

I use the library often, especially the popular computer area, which offers 12 desktops with internet access, plus printing, scanning and copying services for a nominal cost. The staff is incredibly friendly, courteous and helpful to all patrons. The hours were recently expanded, including an early-bird 7 a.m. Wednesday start with 9 a.m. openings on other days. The library closes at 8 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 6 p.m. on Thursdays, as of October 2025. Local events are often held in or just in front of the library including children's story time, local business and food events, and more. Stop by when you can.

This was one of my weekly stops when I lived here. Wonderful employees and outstanding books !

so awesome went in and got three cds, joan didion's the white album, a book to keep from their mini duck scavenger hunt, a miniature duck, AND a free sticker

The library is huge and the staff is friendly. And if you don’t drive the bus stop literally at the front door lol.

Parking was difficult the day I came, Thursday. They had some type of Senior BBQ in the front of library under tents, so this could be why parking was difficult this day. I needed copies. The gentleman who assisted me was polite and friendly. The library is much larger inside then how it appears on the outside
