⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We celebrated our anniversary at Blood & Sand, and the entire experience was unforgettable. The moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone — warm, intimate, and beautifully designed without feeling pretentious. It has that perfect balance of cozy and elevated, where you can relax but still feel like you’re somewhere truly special. We enjoyed the five-course tasting menu with wine pairings, and every dish was thoughtfully crafted. Highlights for us were the smoky cod chowder, autumn greens, and tender steak, followed by a lovely poached pear and dark chocolate torte. The wines paired perfectly with each course and added so much depth to the meal. Our server, Liz, was wonderful — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making our night feel special. I have mixed feelings about this place. They list reservations required. We made reservations on a Friday night which only gave us 2 times so we hurried to get ready for 730. We got there and it was pretty much empty. So my suggestion is remove that statement from everywhere. I also skipped making the reservation because it requires extra steps. The place is cool looking, industrial and sort of hiding. The broken tiles on the entrance are a sign to me that details are missing. We were seat quickly and our server was very very into descriptors. Odd but entertaining. Drinks were strangely slow to arrive, strange because there were maybe 3 tables. The food came out and was good. We picked a few apps and a main dish to share. They have a tasting option of 5 courses for 100 which seems ok

We did their 10 course tasting menu and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Each was unique from one another and we appreciate when a menu doesn't have emulsions. Cocktails all used good quality ingredients and were brought out timely and in appropriate glassware

I've been wanting to go here for a while because of the many good reviews. While the service was good, the food was disappointing. It wasn't terrible, but it just wasn't very good either. Compared to other places charging similar prices for wagyu, it felt pretty mid. A couple of appetizers saved the meal.

My party of 3 celebrated a birthday yesterday with a couple cocktails, the 10 course menu and I had the wine pairings. The food was truly top tier in flavor and presentation. The portions were generous. Courses were served in a thoughtful order and pace that reenergized the palate throughout the 3 hour experience. The wines played perfectly. Our only complaint was that being seated by the bar made for some distractions as the manager (Nicole) was kind of brash for the environment. My partner who’s birthday we celebrated and who works in fine dining felt it was unprofessional that the manager shouted things to the bartender a few times from across the space and seemed to be going behind the bar to drink. She expected that the manager might’ve checked in on our table after being so vi
