Blondie’s Coffee Co

I’m not trying to be stingy, I rarely review/rate places. Especially bad reviews. But I felt like it warranted it. Blondies is super overpriced as it is, but the employees tend to keep change immediately, maybe assuming it is a tip. The problem is that I am not willing to give more than a 10% tip for less than 4 minutes of work. They fill the cup to the top with ice when you ask for light ice. And costumer service is not great. This is not a one time experience (but several- with me hoping to try again). I hope someone will read this review and know not to get drinks here!!! I am done with Blondies and they lost my business indefinitely!!

This is my wife and i's favorite coffee place in not just Wasilla, but probably in the entire state. I am specifically talking about their coffee, it is absolutely excellent, it's baffling somehow that almost all coffee shops in Alaska struggle so much with making high quality coffee or espresso. But Blondie's always nails it! My wife worked at a very fancy coffee shop down in Panama City Beach Florida and a few others for a very long time, and she knows when somebody is very knowledgeable and making a great cup of coffee, I know because she has educated me on how many places have had terrible cups of coffee which I agree but she is an expert. They also have some really nice food available, my wife really likes their breakfast burrito, and I like their bagels. But more than anything again

Good food and drinks. Get the sourdough bread if you get a breaded food it’s way better. I’d say they have a 90-95% hit rate on made drinks? I think I’ve only had 1-3 wrong drinks and this is the only coffee stand I go to.

I reviewed this shop saying the coffee was great but I am now changing that. At the time of the first review it was great. Now it is not good at all. My last coffee from them had a burnt taste and was watery. It was actually undrinkable. I don't know if they changed espresso brands or if the new staff is unable to make drinkable coffee but I will not be returning.

My wife and I go here 4 to 5 times a week and 95% of the time they are spot on. They have some of the best coffee in the Valley and barista Summer is always amazing. I even get sugar free and they accommodate me with zero issues. Thanks!
