Blondie's Barbecue

We saw the feature done on Blondies by Phantom Gourmet and wanted to give it a try. The ratings for Blondies are not a mistake it is a truly excellent BBQ experience. All the food is excellent. The Texas Twinkies (bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños) are just amazing! The brisket is a specialty and it is wonderful. They provide two kinds of barbecue sauce, but the brisket is just great without any. They had a bacon wrapped brisket meatloaf that was delicious. The sides were all good, but the cornbread is really excellent. For a small dessert we had the cherry cheesecake which is a perfect bit of sweetness after BBQ. As soon a you walk in, you can smell how amazing it’s going to be. It was our first time and Emily was superb! The brisket could be cut with a fork. The pulled pork melted in my mouth. The maple butter for the cornbread was a nice touch. Throughout our dining the staff checked to see if we needed anything. We can’t wait to go back!

My wife, a former Texas resident, and I would give Blondie’s ten stars if we could. Everything about our experience was fantastic, and venturing out on another cold, snowy weekend was well worth the effort. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the food is outstanding. The brisket and turkey sandwiches were both delicious—the turkey​ sandwich didn't even last long enough for us to take a photo. After enjoying our sandwiches and ribs, we decided to order takeout wings for the Super Bowl, and we're looking forward to having them later today. We also managed to get a picture of the smoker, which was impressively st​ocked with ribs, wings, brisket, and "Texas twinkies" (bacon-wrapped stuffed jalapeños). Blondie’s is a must-visit for anyone traveling near Gillette Stadium.

Southern transplant here-this is legit BBQ and fixins. Tender pulled pork, ribs, brisket, juicy sausage all pair nicely with great cornbread and spot-on pimento cheese (seriously, this is some of the best pimento cheese I've ever had). Absolutely great mac and cheese and potato salad as well. Beans were unique but good. The only critique I have is the greens are a miss. Don't get me wrong they're good for what they are (sauteed chard and spinach?) but when you see greens on a menu at a barbecue place, you expect collard greens and these ain't it. Order them if you want something green, just don't expect "greens". If I could be so bold to suggest to the owners; offer samples of the pimento cheese. This isn't a known food item here but everyone I've introduced to it loves it. Cheers!

Blondie’s BBQ is absolutely incredible! The food is packed with flavor—perfectly smoked meats, sauces that hit every note, and sides that could be a meal on their own. The portions are generous, the staff is welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Easily one of the best BBQ experiences I’ve ever had—already planning my next visit!
