Blockbuster Pizza

Great local pizza spot! The pizza is always very fresh and tastes great. The atmosphere is a fun 90’s vibe, and the owners are incredibly nice. Definitely a place worth stopping by if you're in the area.

This was such a pleasant surprise to find in our neighborhood! We just tried them for the first time within about a month of their opening, I believe (March 2026). The interior is so fun. They have lots of vintage movie posters, and TVs playing movies. The TVs are spread around so you can watch while you eat. When we were there the owner came out and adjusted one TV so we had the best view. The pizza was tasty. We ordered The Elliot and The Hawaiian by the slice. Instead of one giant slice, they served them as two decent sized portions. This was very nice because my husband and I were able to share, so we got to try both. The crust was very tasty. It was thin and crispy. Definitely the kind of crust that's at its best right out of the oven. It arrived fresh and hot, and tasted amazing.

Took my daughter for lunch today. We ordered a small white pizza and a kids cheese pizza. The owner was very kind and explained they had just opened about a month ago. Our pizzas were absolutely delicious and my daughter says its her new favorite pizza place in des moines. We will for sure be back.

This pizza is delicious. I ordered pepperoni and taco by the slice outstanding. Thanks for the experience slices made fresh by your order blows Casey’s pizza out of the water.

Pizza was phenomenal! would recommend anyone to at least try it once!
