Block Brewing Company

I’ve stopped by Block a few times now, and I’ve been happy with their beers. The quality seems decent, and they do a good job of making easily drinkable brews. This time I also tried their pepper-jack crab soup, and it was delicious. It’s one of my favorite soups, but I rarely see it. It had plenty of spice and crab, and was quite pleasantly thick. The place itself is comfortable and the staff seemed friendly. It’s a nice place to just kick back and relax, and I’d be happy to stop by again.

We went in on a slow sunday night, and while we had no problems with service our food was not good at all. Everything was not warm, most of it looked, and felt like it had sat for too long a period of time before getting to our table. The cheese was congealed and had a thick plasticy top layer, while being room temp to like warm at best. Same with the mac and cheese. while other items were straight up cold. We spent 95$ after tipping and left without eating much.

The pretzel is amazing I don’t care if they serve me dog food for my entree I’m keeping it at 5 stars for the pretzel alone. The entree is actually amazing (we got the smokehouse meats pizza). I highly recommend it. Andrea, our server, was awesome too!

Honest review. Went there for early dinner. I could tell the fries were reheated. My fried chicken tasted like fried fish. Like they fried in same oil. Hard to room a burger, my husband said his was ehhh. Waitress was checking gum while taking our order, which I find rude. Beee was good tho

Their beer menu is larger than their food menu and everything is delicious! From the macaroni n cheese (which has a slight bite to it) I'm a wuss when it comes to heat or spice but it was DELICIOUS. Along with their pulled pork and I took home a growler of their pumpkin head ale which is F A R superior to Oktoberfest. Also tried several other beers which they are gracious about. The portions are huge. I chose to have the plain pulled pork and add my own sauce and their house made sauces are also delicious. I L O V E this place! I'LL BE BACK!
