Blimpie

I’ve been wanting to find a go-to place to get food during my breaks, and found this establishment right next to my place of work. I immediately went to scope out what people had to say about this store. I saw all the hate and dislike in the reviews, and for a second I was going to take my business somewhere else. Something in my head told me to just give a try, and I’m happy I did. The cashiers were all welcoming, and really positive. The lady in the front might’ve been one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The food was really the cherry on the top. When I tell you, one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life. I’m going to be coming here a lot more starting now.

All these bad reviews about this Blimpie place in Clifton off Main Ave corner of Piaget Ave., so I do honestly believe these bad reviews honestly Because I went there once and I felt very uncomfortable sandwich area seemed dirty, rude with no personality so I walked out. The thing is I love Blimpie sandwiches. They are my favorite so anyway my favorite Blimpie area and I love them. They’re in Elmwood Park. The Best! They are very personable. Very polite. I also love the Blimpie’s on Haledon Avenue in Halden not sure or Paterson Halden Ave Near off North 10th Street I believe it’s in Halden. Even though I was reluctant about going into that store because of the area, but I did and I don’t regret it and It’s also a convenient store inside. I have been coming here everyday for years now to play lottery, get food or drinks, whatever I need the have. Amazing store.

I have always loved Blimpies, but this is one place that totally turned me off. The couple of times I came here, whenever I ordered a cold sub, they never got it right. Either they missed two (or sometimes more) ingredients, or they completely botched the toppings, (as well as not knowing the difference between sweet peppers - which I wanted, and hot peppers - which I didn't want) omitting numerous ones I wanted, and sadly didn't discover until after I got home, and putting a slather of mayo, (which is a sin on an Italian sub) which I didn't order. Clearly these people have absolutely no clue as to how to make subs, -- or listen to an order. I made the mistake of giving them a second chance, and wound up on the wrong end of an attempted overcharge. Even with 6 1/2+ percent sales tax, there

Stale bread that was at least a day or two old. It was literally hard. This is like a convenience store and blimpie in one. So the clerk is making your sandwich, then someone is paying for milk or getting a lottery ticket. The clerk was handling money and went back to making my sandwich without changing his gloves , but he noticed me looking and suddenly changed his gloves. Not going here again. I hope I don’t get food poisoning 🥴
