Blake's Lotaburger

On a long travel, stopped fir fuel...and Googled restaurants. At first it seemed like a Mom n Pop operation. But then, all the branded drink cups, burger wrapping paper...etc. This franchise has it going on. Didn't know there is more than one of these gems till I started to do my review...almost 3 weeks late. Everyone was very polite and professional. The place was spotless. Smell of new paint in the restroom. Management really takes care of this old school place just a bit off the beaten path. My bride had the Lot a burger and I got the hatch chili burger. Burgers & fries were hot, delicious, and plentiful. On future road trips in this area, we will definitely be back.

Messed up my order. Did not receive any of my milk shakes. I called the store twice. One of the calls spoke to a Manger and told him. He did not say anything. Literally not a single word. The other call I spoke with an employee. But why does he want to tell me I never purchased any milkshakes. Also, looking at my ticket an comparing my reciept from the app. I got scammed, ignored, an did not get refunded.

Traveling through and we figured we would try the last Blake’s on our way west. While the food was fresh and correct I wouldn’t say we would ever go back. The burgers were very dry and bland. They only add mustard on the bottom bun. The breakfast burritos were very bland. The seasoned fries and milkshakes were the best thing we ordered.

Good for what it is. The burger could use some more wetness though. Just a bit too dry for me. Needs more peppers also! Pretty sad to only put a few on. The photo doesn’t look like what I got. Pretty sad 👎

I heard about this burger chain and wanted to try it. I ordered the chicken sandwhich. I know....weird to order something that's not a burger at a burger joint but the chicken sandwhich was very good! There were real pieces of white meat nuggets. It was fried crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Probably one of the better chicken sandwhiches I've had. My friends ordered the burger and said it was very good. Way better than burger king. It seems they make the burger on the spot because there was a wait to get the burger order as opposed to McDonalds or BK where they order comes right out since the patties are prepared already. I'm a fan and will definitely eat here again.
