Blairstown Inn

This is really nice to stop in for quick beer or drink and have a bite to eat as well. They have good selection of craft beers to go with standard fare. The service has always been very good for me as well.

Nice place with a hometown feel. Small dine in area separate from the bar. Clean but dated interior. Nice big bar area. We had burgers, they were very good. Cooked to order fresh beef, not premade patties. The fries were very good as well and cooked perfectly.

Five Stars purely for the Lone Star Burger! Yum. All their burgers looked awesome. They have a nice beer list too with some local NJ Brew, which is a bonus. No clue about the rest of their meals, but I have a lot of burgers to try before I get to that list!

BE AWARE OF BOGUS TAKEOUT FEES The Blairstown Inn has some decent menu options that are pretty tasty. However, giving 2 stars because of the “take out fees” that are not mentioned on the menu, Facebook page/website, and not mentioned by staff when placing a take out order. The fees are per item, so if you’re ordering for a family of 4, you’re looking at an additional $8-10 off the bat just for the pleasure of taking your food home. Additionally, take out prices are higher than eating in, so they are double dipping on extra fees.

We stopped in on our way home from Land of Make Believe and I fell in love with the place. The place has that classic, hometown tavern feel. The staff was super friendly. The food was incredible. We got a ribs and shrimp special and the shrimp were huge! I was especially impressed by the beer selection. You do not often see Heavy Seas Tropicannon this far from Maryland. I do not know when we will make it back, but I hope its sooner than later. Thanks for a great time Blairstown Inn
