Short visit due to weather but the entire staff was very friendly, pool was great temperature, and even though it did not bother me and was totally fine, kids were splashing around my friend and I and the lifeguard asked them to stop. Good to see a staff pay attention. I’ll be back!

Blackwell pool will always be the heart of Blackwell. If you are from Southside then you probably have went for a swim or 2 in your lifetime.I love taking my kids places that I went to as a child. My boys love to hear stories about my childhood so taking them to the pool warmed my heart. The lifeguards were young but they were definitely on their job.But on the schedule it has designated times like adult swim,ECT they don't enforce.Everyone swims at the same time. The pool is actually a good size for everyone to enjoy. Its kinda hard to get a chair tho so bring your own.The only thing is they told us we had to get out for 15 mins so they could treat and test the levels. And then after 15 mins passed I asked if we could get back in and they said they are now on their 45 min break sooo why not jus

Very clean, well life-guarded community pool. So lucky to have this pool, and the staff is great!!

A good place to take a nice dip on a scorching hot summer day. The only down side is that they provide no protection from the sun or elements so I suggest bringing a umbrella for shade or something of that sort. Closed for the Winter 22

Tighten up. Where is Richard Tyree when you need him. Smdh. My MAIN point: 1.) Try doing what you actually claim to need to do when you kick people out 10-40mins early: CLEAN UP. I was very happy to have found my throw over was still in its exact spot upon returning the next day but then again...did anyone bother to look in the bathroom & clean it? 2.) The Bottom of the pool is a joke. 3.) Be present and act like you actually care about your job and the responsibility you have as a LIFE guard. Keyword LIFE...meaning the your primary concern is the well being of the lives swimming in YOUR pool on YOUR watch which brings me to my next point: 4.) GET THE HELL OFF YOUR PHONES and walk the parameter of the pool, WATCHING intently as patrons swim! 5.) Did I mention clean up??? The Woman’s
