Blackstone Public Library

Hi to all at Blackstone Public Library; I took the time today to walk nearby and took this pic to share. I did not venture inside since we were out doing our laundry chores nearby there. I had no idea that the library was so very close to where this laundromat is. We don't frequent or view what is nearby. We reside in Uxbridge as they don't have a laundromat. I am saddened today and all day and as an adult who spent quite a bit of time at libraries since not employed, I try not to go there now; tired of that existence. Libraries are for families with children; thank God for that. I mean that it is good the town has a library as this is important for rearing and the shaping of young minds.

I was overwhelmed by the tremendous amount of joy I felt today. I decided to stop by for the first time and to my surprise this Library is amazing. The staff at the front desk to Liz who took the time to walk me through the children’s area, were so informative and friendly!! I was so impressed with Liz who I feel ads so much enthusiasm for the kids and you know she loves what she does. I will definitely be there more often .,,

Amazing library! One of the best around! It's beautiful, great natural lighting, great main library and awesome kids side! I love this place! Edit-6 years later- I wish I could give them 10 stars! The kids programs and Miss Tressy are amazing! Great variety of adult programs! Truly an amazing resource for our community that is beautifully ran! Thank you!

There's an older librarian sometimes in the children's section and if you don't *look* the way she wants you to, she is a rude bother. Accused my little girl of stealing a toy and when my daughter found it for the librarian, the librarian pretended as if nothing had happened. That wasn't the only incident with her. The rest of the staff are four-star. The library itself is cute also, with a great little children's room and nice program offerings.

The most incredible library on the planet. The staff stops at nothing to make it a wonderful experience. My child cannot get enough of the Blackstone Library.
