Blackbeard’s Tavern

Food was mediocre. The menu item is quite literal. Ordered the steak sandwich and got just as described. Ordered medium and got rare even after the cook stated he never messes up. Had to finish cooking when I got home. Will give them another try.

Salmon bites and Pizza was very good. I definitely recommend checking this place out!

Ordered the Tavern burger 1/2lb SHRIMP plate And Catfish plate Everything was grilled perfectly, Burger, Shrimp. Catfish. Plenty of catfish and burger was great Shrimp plates was a lighter serving than expected still great taste but not enough to sustain the $16.00 One coleslaw was ok the other 2 were hot enough to hurt the flavor. Keep em 10 shrimp in the picture Plenty of fries in every plate but these ain’t 0.8 oz shrimp even breaded keep them too

I don't understand some of the less-than-positive reviews here for Blackbeard's Tavern; all I can do I tell you that my wife and I have enjoyed excellent meals here ever since the new management came in, got settled, and now have several months of experience under their belts. We order pizza regularly, and it is always very good. We also go occasionally after church -- thank you for your Sunday hours! -- and especially enjoy the cheese steak sandwich and the flounder basket. The other menu choices look tempting as well, but you know how it is -- you find something you especially like, and changing up is hard to do. Staff are always friendly, just the right amount of chatty, and attentive. It's great to have a local pub/tavern with excellent food in such a small town. Highly recommend

Wonderful place, great owners and management. Our server was Rachel and she was amazing! The service was exceptional. She knew what we wanted before we even ordered and had great suggestions! Thanks Sandy and Rachel.
